 Mediation Advocacy Workshop  Understanding Your Role as Counsel in a Mediation (2nd Run)

 

In this interactive workshop, participants will be taught how to prepare themselves and their clients for mediations, and to hone their mediation advocacy skills. Topics covered include:

  4. Court-Annexed or Private Mediation?

  5. Selecting the Right Mediator

  • 4 Levels of Mediation Advocacy

  1. Level 1 – Preliminary Preparation by Counsel

  2. Level 2 – Procedural Preparation with Client

  3. Level 3 – Substantive Preparation with Client

  4. Level 4 – During & After the Mediation

For this activity, this includes signing in on arrival and signing out at the conclusion of the activity in the manner required by the organiser, and not being absent from the entire activity for more than 15 minutes.
